Positioned at the northwest trailhead entrance of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail.  Many of the wineries are only a short drive from the Shed, making it an excellent place to start all your adventures in Southern Illinois.

The Little Grand Canyon, Giant City, and Larue Pine Hills State Parks are a short scenic drive from Little Red Shed.  These beautiful state and national parks feature well appointed picnic areas and amazing hiking trails of various length and difficulty.
